Problems with this drawing:

Well, I made a drawing of my OC, that I think I am going to call Rosalyn, and it was really great! Then I colored it with pencils....and I apparently screwed up the face very badly xD. She is supposed to be white, but I used brown instead of peach... Ah well... Oh, and I messed up on her neclace so many times (I was trying to make another flower) that I made a hole in the paper..... I also colored it wrong xD. It should be some bright color. The two flowers are supposed to be the same color too xD... There also is supposed to be a heart shaped tatoo like thing near her left (our right) shoulder, but it came out badly and I now figured out I dont think this character wants it so its being axed. And her hair is suppoed to be symmetricalish, and I messed up on the bottom right (our right) of her hair...and other places...xD And it DOES look better on paper than when scanned, (colors should be darker) but I guess that IS to be expected.

Edit- Wow, I found out that I really screwed up... I colored over pencil, which you apparently are not supposed to do... oops........

Story Stuff:

Note, thing below seems rather cliche, but it is not really what my stories are going to be like. Its just like a "back of the book" kinda thing, even though its longer than that xD.

Backstory/Bio- Rosalyn Kalika Aiglentine was just a normal, if a bit gifted, magic user from the world of Fantasia.(name of world subject to change) In this world, all beings use magic, and its nothing special to them. Some, like Rosalyn, have more power than others, and are enrolled in Magician Academies.
However, Rosalyn's adventure began on the last day of her studies, when she was due to take the Magical Ability Evaluation Exam, or MAEF for short. If she passed, she would be allowed to use her powers outside school in order to help the world. However, as soon as she passed the exam, the ground began to quake. The sky flashed, and everything started to look like it was melting. Rosalyn, horrified, watched all her friends and family turn to stone as the burning land touched them, until she too saw no more.
Later, she woke up in a very bright room. All she saw there was one woman, who she somehow knew to be the goddess of Nature, Thalia. Thalia told her that all the worlds were unraveling, and that it was her job to fix it all. Rosalyn was horrified. She had no idea how to do anything, she didnt want to do it, and yet she was too scared to say a word. However, she had no choice. Thalia just granted her enhanced powers and abilities, and then sent her on her way.

Notes about clothing- Since the picture isnt that great, the flower on her head is supposed to look like the one on her sash. Also, these flowers were the first things she ever made with magic, and, as she grows in power, they grow in beauty. Also, when Thalia granted her extra power, it went into the flowers. These flowers also can change color and shape.

Weaknesses- If her two flowers are taken, her powers are significantly diminished. She can get these flowers from anywhere with a spell, but it takes time to recite. Darkness is also bad for her, because she it is the opposite of what nature craves: light. She just became an unwilling hero after all!

Yes, I don’t have much faith in myself, but I’m willing to try for my family and everyone who needs me… But sometimes I just feel hopeless… But I can’t just give up!
